A subtly hued, metallic shimmer. The artist found this light reflection on a gray wall in her exhibition for the national gallery in Pristina in 2014. The colorful spot, about a half-meter in diameter, was an accidental reflection, a combination of sunlight and glass. The fleetingness of this moment, captured spontaneously on a cell phone, is brought, via the motif, from the south into the center of Europe. Flaka Haliti works with the possibilities of digital images, allowing emotions to emerge. Both analog and digital,they function on the same level.
